The opening words to this fun film taking place in 1978. Featuring well styled and comb over Christian Bale, who we could very well understand, Bradley Cooper in curlers, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence. Perfecting capturing the 70s' scandal where two brilliant cons are forced by an FBI agent to take on the big leagues of taking out some Mobsters and government officials. No biggy for Irving and Sydney right? Wrong, since someone gets power hungry. Well, fame hungry really. The acting is phenomenal and pacing really keeps you guessing till the end. Perfectly capturing the aspect of how quickly things can turn sour and one must think quick in order to cover there ass. Not to mention down right hilarious. You will always be laughing, but still balancing it with a serious plot and under lying sense of chaos.
So if you like to laugh and love a small thrill ride you better check this movie out!
